The short version

Fidgetto has no user accounts and shares nothing about how you use it unless you turn that on. Your toys, designs and settings stay on your computer.

Usage sharing (off unless you turn it on)

After about a day of use, Fidgetto asks once whether you want to share anonymous usage. If you say yes, it records which toys you use and when something goes wrong, under a random ID that is not linked to you. It never includes your name, email, files, paths or computer name. You can turn it off any time in Settings, and the random ID is deleted when you do. These events go to PostHog (US), our analytics provider, without your IP-based location.

What the app contacts

• Polar, only to check that a Fidgetto Pro license key is valid and to count activations on your computers. Each activation is labelled with your computer's name, so you can tell your computers apart in your Polar account.
• Our download server (updates.shadster.dev), to download toy files and to check for and download app updates. Requests contain what any download request contains, such as your IP address and the app version, which our host may keep in ordinary server logs.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Polar, who act as merchant of record. Polar collects the details needed to process your payment, taxes and receipts, under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and license information so we can support you. We never see your card details.

This website

This website does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
